CUE
You think sharper with an LLM at your side — right up until the call starts.
Free to start. Apple Silicon, macOS 14.2+.
Cue's nudge, at actual size — the whole interface, most of the time. A recording of one firing over a live call goes here.
Then you're on your own until it's over, and the summary that finally arrives shows up after the minds you wanted to move have already left the room. Cue closes that gap, two ways.
It stays silent.
Until the one moment it's worth a glance: a number someone just got wrong, a name you're clearly reaching for, an unspoken objection worth putting into words.
One line, on screen, gone in 20 seconds.
Not a chat window to babysit. Not a transcript to read later.
It's your inner voice.
Mid-call, ask it anything — what have we agreed so far?, help me articulate why this feels off, what do I say next? — and it answers in seconds, grounded in everything said so far plus your own notes.
Push and pull, so you're never stuck waiting for a model to decide you need help.
It remembers.
When the call ends Cue doesn't disappear. It keeps a running, searchable memory of every conversation — one you can keep chatting with days later.
Private by design.
This app listens to meetings, which contain other people's words and not just yours. So it is built local-first, on a cloud with nowhere to put what it hears.
Your meetings stay on your Mac
Every conversation is a plain Markdown note in a folder you choose — open it, grep it, edit it, delete it, all without Cue. Point that folder at iCloud Drive and it syncs across your Macs, inside your own account.
The cloud has no column for it
Cue's backend exists to sign you in and meter usage: email, subscription status, daily counts. That is the entire schema. Model requests are piped through in memory — never the prompt, never the response.
On-device transcription sends no audio
On macOS 26, Apple's SpeechAnalyzer transcribes on your machine and call audio never leaves it. Default — and the only mode — on the free plan. Read the privacy notice.
Bring it to your next call.
Fifteen seconds to install, and it stays quiet until it has something worth saying.
